Why the U of M: I chose the University of Minnesota because it is a well-known institution with a great computer science program.

What I want to do: My ideal career is to be a software engineer right after college and eventually become a manager of software engineers. Ultimately, I want to be a co-founder of a software startup.

Why the Discovery Scholars award is important: This scholarship helps motivate me to keep doing well in school. It also really helps relieve some of the financial stress that comes with being a college student.
