A safe ride home
Meet some of the students who drive for Boynton Health’s Gopher Chauffeur

Founded by students in 2007, Gopher Chauffeur provides free rides home to students on the Twin Cities campus, seven nights a week. With a staff of more than 50 undergraduates trained in crisis response management and risk reduction, Gopher Chauffeur:

  • Has a fleet of five vans
  • Gave 200,000+ rides since it began, including nearly 13,400 during the 2021/2022 academic year
  • Gets the most requests on Friday and Saturday nights
  • Sees the busiest times of the year at Homecoming, Halloween, and Spring Jam

You can support student safety by making a gift to the Gopher Chauffeur fund
