The University of Minnesota is committed to reducing financial barriers to student achievement. Donors who share that belief are key to making it happen.

The Learners to Leaders initiative aims to raise $500 million for scholarships, fellowships, and programmatic opportunities (research, experiential learning, and study abroad, for example).

The goals are to:

• Support more students through philanthropy-based scholarships and fellowships, with a focus on those who have the greatest financial need (find out about incentive funding for donors)
• Attract and retain a diverse student body
• Increase financial aid for all students across the U of M system by 10 percent.
